“Stay on Kaua’i, or to go to the mainland?” This is the question our high school seniors will be answering in the next 4 months. Parents of these same high school Seniors will be asking each other do we have enough money to send our student away? A round trip flight to the West Coast is nearing $400.00 dollars which equates to 1 class at KCC. The tuition, room & board, and textbooks for a mainland college can become a financial burden versus an asset for any family.

Remember finishing high school? That was a long time ago, right? When we got out of high school, we had dreams, plans, a future in mind. That vision could have included a career, or it was focused around the life we wanted. Maybe it was just the adventures we wanted to experience. Whatever it was, high school was over, and now it was time for life to begin!
