Support Groups

Support Groups

Our team recognizes that we all need emotional support or an extra hand at some point in our lives and we are dedicated to eliminating the negative stigmas surrounding mental health. You can help us address these issues by participating in our outreach events or support groups and helping our campus be a safe, inclusive place where everyone can thrive.

Examples of support groups provided for KCC students, faculty and staff at Hale Malama:

  • Pono checkup sessions with nursing students
  • Art psychosocial group for international students, student veterans and future soldiers etc.
  • PAU Violence Doll Making psychosocial support groups
  • Take A Break Wednesday - online support group for all UH students

If you are interested in support groups, call 808-245-8346 or email us at HMalama@hawaii.edu for more information.
