NSF TCUP Grants

WHAT IS NSF TCUP? 

Tribal Colleges and Universities Program (TCUP) is funded through the U.S. National Science Foundation. Their program supports Native Hawaiian-serving institutions and Alaska Native-serving institutions to promote Native Americans in STEM research, education, and careers.

Support is available to eligible institutions for transformative capacity building or community engagement projects and complete details can be found on the TCUP website. Among the available support, Kaua‘i CC received a five-year TCUP for Secondary and Elementary Teachers in STEM (TSETS) $1,736,378 award on March 30, 2023, with a start date of April 01, 2023 and end date of March 31, 2028.
