What is a University Center?
University Centers were established to provide opportunities for quality higher education to students, who are unable to attend the UH campus offering their program of choice. University Centers are located on Kaua`i, Maui, and in West Hawai`i.

Where is the University Center on Kauai located?
The University Center is located in the One Stop Center Room 206 at Kaua`i Community College.

What are the University Center hours?

        Fall and Spring semesters:

        Monday - Friday:  7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Center is closed on weekends and on holidays.
 
How are distance learning courses delivered?
Courses are delivered through cable television, the Internet, polycom, and interactive television.
 
How do I apply to a degree or certificate program?
Read the admissions requirements of the campus to which you are applying by visiting the campus’ online admissions office.  Applicants to any of the ten campuses of the University of Hawaiʻi may choose to apply online.  An Educational Specialist is available on-island for assistance.
 
Does a University Center award degrees?
University Centers do not award degrees or certificates. The degrees and certificates are awarded by the university campuses who offer the program(s).  The Centers may have different degrees and certificates depending on each community's higher education priorities and the Center's ability to receive and support the courses and services.
 
Is financial aid available?
Based on financial need, you may be eligible for federal financial grants or low-interest loans.  To apply, contact the Financial Aid Office at the campus for which you applying.  The types of financial aid available may vary by campus.
 
How do I get my books for my online course?

All University of Hawaii and affiliated student(s) may schedule appointments through MySuccess.
 
  1. Login to MySuccess.hawaii.edu with your UH username and password.
  2. Click My​ ​Success​ ​Network​ ​on the left
  3. Click Kauai​ ​University​ ​Center​ ​or type in the search bar “University Center”
  4. Click Schedule​ ​Appointment​ under Rhonda Liu on the right
  5. Choose a bold​ ​date​ ​in the calendar on the left and Sign-up​ for a time
