UH To Host Top FBI Cyber Security Expert

One of the FBI’s top cyber security experts, Deputy Assistant Director James Burrell, will share the FBI’s perspectives on current threats and investigations as related to higher education institutions during a live presentation at University of Hawaii at Manoa on Monday, December 10, 2012.
The one-hour presentation will originate from Kuykendall Hall Room 201 at 11:30 a.m. with broadcast over the Hawaii Interactive Video Service (HITS) network to sites on seven UH campuses. Seating is limited so early reservations are recommended online through the IT Security section of the Information Technology Services (ITS) training site at http://kuhi.its.hawaii.edu/training. A UH Username and password are required for reservations. Please contact UH Information Technology Security Officer Jodi Ito at 956-2400 if you do not have a UH Username.
Mr. Burrell currently serves as the Deputy Assistant Director of the Cyber Division Section at the FBI Headquarters in Washington, DC.
